Virginia checking in!

Hello all! I am in the northern Virginia area. We have not had an issue with viral spread to our birds but we do keep ours in a large coop with a covered porch. We're redoing our run and hope to open it up to the hens this summer. Our goal is to continue to offer them the same level of protection from exposure to disease from wild birds as they currently have in their coop.

I live in a chicken packed neighborhood. We keep a set of shoes just for use in our chicken yard to prevent the spread of disease from around the neighborhood.
